Here we are, half way through the year already! Wow, how time does fly! Not to worry though, there’s still plenty of summer fun to be had before the kid-dreaded, parent-loving back to school time arrives.

CLMA will be closed on Wednesday, July 4th. Classes will resume on Thursday, July 5th.
World’s Tournament: July 9-15
World’s tournament is coming up the second week in July! Mr. White, our Chief Instructor at the Greenbrier location will be testing for the esteemed rank of 4th Degree! We wish you luck, sir! Also, Hunter C. from the Greenbrier location will be competing at World’s in the Tournament of Champions in multiple events. Way to represent CLMA! Good luck, sir!
Belt Ceremony: July 27
For all students who attended testing, we will be having our potluck belt ceremony on Friday, July 27th! The ceremony will start at 6:00pm followed by a Pot Luck! Make sure you mark down what you will be bringing on the sign-up sheet!
Summer Camps
There are still 4 camps this summer! Check out all of our camps and the awesome deals. Kids won’t want to miss this mix of fun and development of their martial arts skills! See your instructor to reserve your spot for summer camp!
Superhero Camp: July 9-13 – Princess Anne
Students will choose their side: super hero vs. super villain! We will also have a visit from some local heroes!
Ninja Turtle Camp: July 23-27 – Greenbrier
Students will transform into their favorite ninja turtle and learn their awesome techniques and gymnastics (xma) moves
Star Wars Camp: August 6-10 – Greenbrier
Young Padawan will train the ways of the Jedi using a glow in the dark nunchuk!
Rapid Rank Camp: August 20-24 – Greenbrier
Students get the chance to advance in rank (and even earn their first belt!) in this exciting martial arts skill driven camp. Of course, there will be time for some fun games!
Options:
Weekly Half Day: $100
Weekly Full Day: $200
Partial Week: $50/day
Savings: CLMA Students save $15 per camp! Buy 4 weeks and get the 5th week free!
- Lunch not included, except for a party on Fridays
- Glow in the dark nunchuks included with star wars camp (*except for those who pay for less than 4 days)
- Students may attend both rapid rank camps but may only advance in rank at 1 camp (*must attend all week)
Region 111 and National Tournaments for 2018
The next Region 111 Tournament (and the first region 111 tournament for the season) will be held on Saturday, September 8th in Durham, North Carolina! More information to follow, but make sure you mark this date on your calendar!
Fall Nationals will be held October 17-20 in Kissimmee, Florida.
CLMA’s Annual tournament will be November 3rd at the beautiful Virginia Beach Convention Center! We are looking forward to seeing all CLMA students represent and show off their skills!
