CLMA’s “Winter is Coming” Tournament: November 4
CLMA is hosting a tournament at the Virginia Beach Convention Center on November 4th! Winter is Coming…..We invite all students to join the ranks of the Night’s Watch to help defend us from those in the Land of Always Winter!
This is a great event for all students! Competing in tournaments helps to build self-confidence, self-esteem, and tests your martial arts skill set in a safe environment. Our instructors would like to see 100% participation of all students. This is a local event that does not involve any traveling so it is a great experience for all students to enjoy without the extra expense of travel! See your instructor today to register!
Blacklight Board Break Night: October 13th
Everyone loves breaking boards! But we are going to change it up a bit a break boards in the dark….with a blacklight of course! Students will get to decorate their boards with neon blacklight paint before the event. On board break night, students will be breaking boards and doing lots of other fun activities and games in the dark!
Cost: $20 per board (must pledge a minimum of 2 boards to participate)

Belt Ceremony: October 9th
For all students who attended testing, we will be having our potluck belt ceremony on Monday, October 9th! The ceremony will start at 6:00pm followed by a Pot Luck! Make sure you mark down what you will be bringing on the sign-up sheet!
Kali Stick Workshop with Master Apolo Landra: November 3rd
On Friday, November 3rd, Master Apolo Landra will be hosting a Kali Stick workshop at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. Master Apolo Landra has over 40 years of experience in the martial arts industry as an instructor, school owner and curricula creator. He studies and trains directly under the sole heir and keeper of Pekiti Tirsia Kali, Grand Tuhon Leo T. Gaje Jr. Kali is a complete martial art utilizing weapons, empty hands, kicking, striking, and ground fighting and in this workshop you will learn how to use weapons to protect yourself and devastate an opponent.
