Reasons for training with Changing Lives ATA Martial Arts:

First I started training because I wanted a chance to spend more time with my husband. As I started to progress I became more aware of my surroundings. Before I was shy and antisocial but after a couple of months i became more confident in myself. Within a couple of months, I realized this is what I wanted to do, I want to be able to change a life like my life was changed.

My next Martial Arts testing date: March 2010 for 3rd Degree

A quick story about training with Senior Master Thomas:

For a team building exercise, Senior Master took all of his staff for kayaking for 4 hours and about 9 miles. I overcame certain obstacles that both Senior Master Thomas and his Changing Lives Martial Arts Team of Instructors worked with me on. I was sun burnt from head to toe, sore in muscles I never new existed. Senior Master Thomas was always there to help us and he would not let anyone quit or stop and rest as we all stayed together as a team. It was a challenge and I had a blast doing it!
